Intercultural Marriage

Through Leap of Faith Ministries, Catalin and Marla Alupoaicei will provide you with the inspiration and help you need to build your marriage on the solid Rock of Jesus Christ. Marla has a forthcoming book titled Your Intercultural Marriage: A Guide to a Healthy, Happy Relationship (Moody Publishers, June 2009) to provide practical help and hope to Christian intercultural couples. 

 

Catalin and Marla met on a mission trip in Romania in 1998. They married on March 16, 2002. The couple have a genuine, God-given commitment to helping intercultural couples thrive in their marriages! They have completed over seven years of personal and academic research on intercultural marrriage. Catalin and Marla are available to answer any of your questions and to provide you with excellent resources tailored just for your intercultural marriage needs.

 

Catalin and Marla also have developed a large community of intercultural contacts and can pair you up with marriage mentors (often, an individual or couple from the same culture or country) to let you know more specifically what to expect from marriage to a person from that culture or country. We’ve found this to be an invaluable resource for couples wanting to know what to expect before they “take the leap” into intercultural marriage!
